Joo Ho-young, the floor leader of the People Power Party, said in a meeting with reporters, "It is regrettable to see the reality where a prosecutor general, who was faithfully performing his duties in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution, is being ousted, which directly shows the destruction of the Constitution and the rule of law." He added, "If necessary, our People Power Party will do our best to join forces with Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol to protect the Korean Constitution and the rule of law."
When asked if he plans to meet with Prosecutor General Yoon, Floor Leader Joo replied, "I will take some time to confirm Yoon's intentions, and there will be time to meet."
On the same day, Representative Jung Jin-seok stated on his social media (SNS), "He (Prosecutor General Yoon) today testified with his body to the reality of the destruction of the rule of law, the violation of the constitution, and the corruption of power perpetrated by the Moon Jae-in administration," and expressed his determination, "I and the People Power Party will not hesitate to support Yoon Seok-yeol, who is determined to judge the tyranny of the Moon administration."
Representative Jung evaluated, "The message Yoon Seok-yeol sent is clear," saying, "'I will restore the destroyed constitutional spirit and rule of law,' and 'I will fight alongside the people against the ruthless regime.'"
