Donation of 200 Food Packages and 50 Cotton Quilts
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received a 'Neighbor Helping Donation' from the Gangseo-gu Saemaeul Women's Association (President Lee Yang-ja) at the mayor's office on the morning of the 4th.
The donated 200 food packages and 50 cotton blankets will be delivered to low-income residents such as basic livelihood security recipients, single-parent families, and elderly care facilities.
Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "I deeply appreciate the Saemaeul Women's Association for continuously practicing volunteer and sharing activities and taking the lead in creating a warm community," and added, "The donated items will be properly delivered to neighbors in need of help."

Meanwhile, the Gangseo-gu Saemaeul Women's Association has been steadily carrying out volunteer activities for neighbors in need, such as producing 15,250 cloth masks themselves during the mask shortage in March last year and distributing them to elderly care facilities and childcare centers.
