Harim Enters Cooked Rice Market... Launches 'Harim Sunbap'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Harim is entering the instant rice market.
On the 4th, Harim announced that it will launch its differentiated "Harim Sunbap (Pure Rice)," made with 100% rice and water, at convenience stores and enter the premium instant rice market.
Harim Sunbap is truly pure rice cooked only with freshly milled domestic rice and clean water, replicating the taste of rice cooked in a home kitchen. It features a steaming process that ensures the rice grains remain separate and fluffy, just like freshly cooked rice at home, without any clumping.
Additionally, by performing water pouring, cooking, and sealing in a cleanroom environment equivalent to semiconductor factories (Class 100, NASA standard), safety is maximized. The adoption of advanced processes such as differentiated steaming further enhances the rice's taste to the fullest.
Harim Sunbap is packed in square containers with 210g portions and can be conveniently cooked in a microwave (2 minutes), allowing dual-income families and consumers who enjoy eating alone to easily enjoy homemade-style rice.
Harim stated that entering the rice market signifies its expansion as a comprehensive food company and declares its role as a company responsible for the nation's staple foods, chicken and rice.
