View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the morning of the 26th, Lee Jae-geun, the mayor of Sancheong County, and Shim Jae-hwa, the chairman of the county council, visited Sancheong Nursing Hospital in Geumseo-myeon, where the region's first COVID-19 vaccinations were being administered, to check the vaccination status.
Mayor Lee Jae-geun, Chairman Shim Jae-hwa, and their party visited Sancheong Nursing Hospital at around 10:30 a.m. to observe the implementation of the first COVID-19 vaccinations conducted in the region.
They also encouraged the hospital and public health center staff dedicated to quarantine and vaccination efforts and urged for safe and swift vaccinations.
They witnessed Nam Jun-o (61), a Korean medicine doctor at Sancheong Nursing Hospital and the first vaccine recipient in Sancheong County, receiving the vaccination. On-site, 62 individuals under the age of 65, including staff and residents affiliated with Sancheong Nursing Hospital, received the vaccine.
