According to the Incheon Western Police Station on the 26th, at around 10:30 a.m. that day, the apartment management office manager discovered the severely decomposed body of a man inside an apartment in Seo-gu, Incheon, and reported it to the police.
The manager had visited the residence, where apartment maintenance fees had been overdue for two years, and found the body lying face down covered with a blanket in a room.
The resident registration indicated that Mr. A (65) and his son Mr. B (32) lived together in the residence.
The police, finding no signs of external intrusion or trauma on the body, requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service.
Through investigation of acquaintances, the police estimated that the body was that of Mr. A.
It was also found that Mr. B currently resides in another area within Incheon.
Based on statements from acquaintances that Mr. A had debts, the police plan to investigate the exact cause of death.
