According to the police on the 23rd, the Inspection Officer of the National Police Agency is conducting an internal investigation on Chief Superintendent A, who is currently serving as a police chief. Chief Superintendent A is suspected of holding drinking gatherings in the office during working hours while working at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency from 2019 to 2020.
Among the allegations raised, it is also known that Chief Superintendent A called female police officers to the drinking gatherings. Chief Superintendent A is reported to be denying these claims.
