Jeongeup-si Accepting Applications for Women Farmers Saengsaeng Card Until 26th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 23rd that it is accepting applications for the 2021 Women Farmers Saengsaeng Card Support Project to improve the quality of life for women farmers.
The Women Farmers Saengsaeng Card Project is a support program designed to provide health and cultural activity opportunities to women farmers living in poor cultural conditions.
It was also established to improve the welfare of women farmers by preventing chronic diseases caused by repetitive farm work and housework.
Applications can be submitted at the resident's eup/myeon office and dong community center until the 26th.
This year, a total project budget of 450 million KRW will be invested to support 3,000 people, providing 150,000 KRW per person (including a 20,000 KRW self-payment).
Eligible applicants are women farmers engaged in agriculture and residing in rural areas, aged 25 to under 75 years old (however, married women aged 20 or older are also eligible).
The household's total farmland ownership area (combined with household members) must be less than 50,000㎡ (or equivalent scale in livestock, forestry, or fishery).
The Saengsaeng Card can be issued through NongHyup branches and can be used in all industries (except medical institutions, entertainment, and gambling-related businesses) such as travel agencies, sports goods stores, beauty salons, cosmetics shops, movie theaters, jjimjilbangs, swimming pools, bookstores, photo studios, and opticians.
