Gyeonggi-do Supports 'Convergent Design Development' for Furniture SMEs
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province supports the development of convergence design for small and medium-sized furniture companies within the province.
According to the province on the 23rd, five companies will be selected this year as recipients of the furniture convergence design support project.
Selected beneficiary companies can receive support covering up to 70% of the costs for developing new furniture designs, with a maximum limit of 20 million KRW.
Eligible companies are furniture-related manufacturers with headquarters or factories located in the province. Preference is given to companies led by female CEOs, social enterprises, companies for the disabled, and social cooperatives.

Applications can be submitted by March 15 through the Gyeonggi Furniture Industry Online Platform (www.gfurniture.or.kr) or the Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark website (www.gdtp.or.kr).
