[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council announced on the 22nd that it plans to install one rapid charger in the council parking lot to promote the spread of electric vehicles.
The rapid charger to be installed this time is a 50Kw unit that takes about 30 minutes to charge up to 80% from a full discharge.
It will operate 24 hours a day, year-round, and be available to visitors to the council and all residents.
Selected for this year's open electric vehicle charging station construction project led by Korea Electric Power Corporation, the council will provide the site, and KEPCO will be responsible for installing and operating the charger.
After basic work such as power line connection from the end of February, it is scheduled to be fully operational in early April.
