View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] eBay Korea announced on the 22nd that it has launched the official website for the global integrated shipping system ‘eGS’.
With the launch of the official eGS website, sellers can now access all key information such as service introduction, shipping rates, and major announcements in one place. In the future, useful information for sellers, including customs information by country and tips for using eGS, will be continuously uploaded.
In particular, inquiry channels that were previously divided by category have been unified into a single channel, enabling easier inquiry submissions and faster response confirmations. Sellers can also apply for domestic courier pickup and register export declaration numbers through the seller tools. By filling out the domestic courier pickup service application form on the official eGS website, eGS will process the application at a special partnership rate and arrange for next-day pickup. Registering the declaration number for products with completed export declarations eliminates the hassle of separate confirmations.
To commemorate the opening of the official website, a discount of 1,000 KRW on ‘Standard’ shipping rates to all regions will be offered until the 31st. However, the discount is capped at 1,000,000 KRW per seller.
