40 Martial Arts and Innovative Startups Supported to Join 'Amazon Launchpad'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 21st that 40 Korean startups were selected for Amazon's marketing platform, 'Amazon Launchpad,' through the '2021 Trade Association X Amazon Launchpad Meetup.'
Amazon Launchpad is a premium marketing platform dedicated to innovative products. Among tens of thousands of supported companies worldwide, only 2.9% succeed in being listed, reflecting its strict and rigorous selection criteria. Successful entry results in a purchase conversion rate up to four times higher than the general Amazon selling platform. Selected companies receive premium services for one year, including differentiated promotional pages, video marketing, and focused consulting related to product promotion and sales.
This year, 165 domestic startups submitted applications. Amazon Launchpad headquarters ultimately selected 40 companies with innovative product lineups, such as eco-friendly reusable tumblers with automatic cleaning and sterilization functions, and compatible chargers that automatically convert voltage to match different battery voltages for laptops, smartphones, and cameras. Since the 19th, online procedures, support details, and detailed product reviews have been conducted for these companies.
Previously, the Trade Association supported the entry of 30 Korean startups into Amazon Launchpad last year. Among them, three companies?WellsCare (portable laser pain therapy device), Salted (golf swing practice device), and 3i (smart pot for smartphone video shooting)?achieved online sales of 1 million dollars within less than a year of being listed.
