Five COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Among Employees at Wanju Hyundai Motor Plant
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Five COVID-19 cases have been confirmed at the Hyundai Motor factory in Wanju, Jeonbuk.
According to Wanju County on the 21st, three office workers at the Hyundai Motor factory tested positive for COVID-19 on the 19th, followed by two more positive cases early on the 20th.
Some of them are known to have visited other regions during the Lunar New Year holiday. The Wanju County Health Center and others are conducting COVID-19 tests on about 80 employees in the department where the confirmed cases worked.

Previously, in December last year, a total of 34 people, including 21 employees and 13 family members, were consecutively confirmed positive for COVID-19 at this factory.
