[Today’s Weather] Warm Nationwide with Significant Rise in Daytime Temperatures... Highest Temperature 22 Degrees
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] On Sunday the 21st, the whole country will be mostly clear with daytime temperatures rising significantly, showing full-fledged spring weather.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Morning and daytime temperatures will rise 2 to 4 degrees higher than the previous day, with temperatures around 15 degrees Celsius in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, and northern Chungcheong Province, making it mild."
Some areas in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province will have many clouds. The southern Chungcheong region and southern parts of the country will see temperatures rise to around 20 degrees Celsius. Some areas in the Gyeongsang region are expected to reach up to 23 degrees Celsius.
Strong winds and very high waves are expected in the eastern sea off the southern coast and the southern East Sea offshore waters, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 5°C △Chuncheon 0°C △Gangneung 7°C △Daejeon 7°C △Cheongju 6°C △Daegu 4°C △Gwangju 7°C △Jeonju 8°C △Busan 10°C △Jeju 12°C.
The daytime high temperatures are △Seoul 15°C △Chuncheon 15°C △Gangneung 17°C △Daejeon 19°C △Cheongju 19°C △Daegu 22°C △Gwangju 21°C △Jeonju 20°C △Busan 18°C △Jeju 21°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, Sejong, North Chungcheong, and South Chungcheong, while other regions are expected to be 'moderate.'
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "With daytime temperatures rising significantly until the day after tomorrow, the temperature difference between day and night will be large, ranging from 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. Please be careful with health management to prevent immune system decline caused by sudden temperature changes."
