[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yoodonggyun, Mayor of Mapo District, participated in the production of a video urging the prompt passage of the 'Social Economy Basic Act,' which has not passed for the past seven years.
There are various types of social economy enterprises, but since they are subject to individual laws according to their organizational forms, there is an urgent need to establish an integrated and systematic basic law.

Since 2019, Mapo District has enacted the Mapo District Social Economy Basic Ordinance, established a social economy institutional foundation, and implemented various policies to revitalize the social economy based on the local community, including ▲ operation of the Social Economy Integrated Support Center ▲ establishment of the Social Economy Committee ▲ social economy special zone projects ▲ support for resident-centered local social economy activities ▲ social economy space support projects ▲ fostering and promotion and market support for social economy enterprises.
