[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The Army's 8th Mobile Division will conduct the '2021 Winter Tactical Training' for four weeks from the 19th of this month to the 19th of next month in the northern Gyeonggi area, including Yangju, Dongducheon, Pocheon, and Yeoncheon.
The military authorities stated, "This training will focus on overcoming severe weather conditions and cultivating winter combat capabilities."
In particular, during the training period, traffic congestion is expected as military vehicles and tracked equipment such as tanks and armored vehicles move along major roads including Routes 3, 43, and 375, and they asked for the understanding and cooperation of local residents to prevent safety accidents.
