Jinju-si, Additional Rent Reduction for Public Sports Facilities
Public Sports Facility Tenants Facing Difficulties Breathe Sigh of Relief with Rent Reduction
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 18th that it will further reduce rental fees for public sports facilities to alleviate the economic burden on tenants due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The city decided to additionally reduce rental fees this year for 13 facilities located in four public sports facilities, including Jinju Sports Complex.
Following the decision of the Shared Property Deliberation Committee, the city revealed a plan to provide additional rental fee reductions for public sports facilities, allowing tenants to receive a 50% rental fee discount for 181 days from January 1 to June 30 this year.
First, tenants who have already paid rent for public sports facilities can receive a 50% refund, while rental fees for other facilities will be charged after applying the reduced amount.
Tenants of public sports facilities who were unable to operate due to assembly prohibition orders related to the spread of COVID-19 will receive either an extension of the rental period or a full exemption for the duration of the restriction.
