[Photo] Minister Lee Jae-gap Tours Jeju Air Flight Attendant Lounge
On the 18th, Lee Jae-gap, Minister of Employment and Labor, visited Jeju Air's Seoul office in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and toured the crew lounge and other facilities before a meeting. The meeting was organized to share Jeju Air's experience of maintaining employment through joint labor-management efforts despite the sharp decline in air travel demand following the COVID-19 pandemic, and to hear about any difficulties. Since last year, Jeju Air's labor and management have agreed on measures such as partial salary cuts for executives and reduction of welfare benefits, and have maintained employment with the support of government employment retention subsidies. / Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
