[Photo] Minister Lee Jae-gap and Jeju Air Employees Shouting Fighting
Lee Jae-gap, Minister of Employment and Labor (fifth from the left), is taking a commemorative photo with executives and other stakeholders at the Jeju Air Seoul Office in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the 18th during an on-site meeting for the airline industry employment retention subsidy program. This meeting was organized to share Jeju Air's experience of maintaining employment through joint labor-management efforts despite the sharp decline in air travel demand following the COVID-19 pandemic and to hear about any difficulties. Since last year, Jeju Air has maintained employment by having labor and management agree on measures such as partial salary reductions for executives and reductions in welfare benefits, while receiving government employment retention subsidies. / Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
