Charged with Pushing and Assaulting Taxi Driver While Intoxicated

On the 18th, the Sasang Police Station in Busan announced that they are investigating Mr. A, a public official from Sasang District Office, who assaulted a taxi driver at the scene after a 112 emergency call on the night of the 17th.
It was investigated that at around 9:56 PM on the 17th, in front of Hyundai Motor in Sasang District, a taxi driver in his 50s requested Mr. A to wear a mask, but Mr. A, intoxicated, refused and pushed the driver, assaulting him.
