At 8 PM on the same day, the 'Mokpo Market Online Tour' broadcast will begin through 11st's live broadcast corner 'LIVE11.' Reporter Lee Eun-kyung, formerly of KBS 2TV's Saengsaeng Information, and show host Kim Woo-jin will appear, touring Cheongho Market according to a shopping list previously submitted by 11st customers, directly exploring and purchasing Jeollanam-do specialties.
They also plan to conduct interviews with various merchants. 11st explained that they have prepared questions to hear sincere stories from traditional market merchants, such as how the market atmosphere has been since COVID-19, the most encouraging moments while doing business, thoughts on pioneering online sales channels, and the unique pride of traditional markets.
Including the products introduced in the broadcast, local specialties representing Jeollanam-do can be purchased through 'Namdo Jangteo,' an online shopping mall for agricultural, marine, and livestock products from Jeollanam-do, which is hosted on 11st. Customers who receive discount coupons provided during the live broadcast can purchase Namdo Jangteo's representative fresh foods at a 28% discount compared to usual prices. 'Wando Live Abalone (1kg, 15~16 pieces)' is priced at 35,720 KRW, 'Naju Korean Pork Spare Ribs (600g)' at 7,780 KRW, 'Jeonnam Honey Sweet Potatoes (3kg)' at 14,260 KRW, and 'Yeosu Female Crab Soy Sauce Marinated Crab (1.1kg or more, two crabs)' at 22,250 KRW. Additionally, customers who answer quizzes correctly during the broadcast will be entered into a drawing for prizes.
11st has been continuously collaborating with 'Namdo Jangteo' since last year, holding special events to expand sales channels for local specialties that have been contracted due to COVID-19. Last month, they also prepared a live broadcast called 'Saving Tongyeong Sea Eel' in cooperation with the 'Nearshore Trap Fishery Cooperative.'
