Naju-si 'Smart Media Station Citizen Exhibition' Artwork Contest Call
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 17th that it is holding a contest for works for the ‘Bitgaram Smart Media Station Citizen Exhibition’ to promote citizens' cultural enjoyment and artistic activities.
This contest, under the theme ‘A small but shareable personal exhibition,’ is open for application until the 26th to any citizen wishing to exhibit their works.
The submission categories include artworks such as fine art, photography, crafts, and any works that can be exhibited for more than a month, including personal collections and possessions.
Applications can be submitted by filling out the application form posted in the announcement section on the city hall website and visiting the Culture and Arts Division of the city hall in person.
The Smart Media Station, located in front of the outdoor performance hall at the Innovation City Lake Park, is a citizen-participatory cultural and media content space that opened in October 2017.
It is a container-type structure with transparent LED glass on the exterior walls that can display various video contents, and is used diversely for art exhibitions, citizen rest areas, and more.
During nighttime, the LED exterior walls are used to promote city administration, display media art works, UCC videos, and provide visual attractions.

Following last year, the city will again provide the first and second floors of the building as exhibition spaces this year.
