[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] CJ Olive Young has revamped its 'Top Reviewer' system to increase the number of 'Excellent Reviews' on its online mall.
Olive Young announced on the 17th that starting this year, it will significantly enhance benefits for excellent reviewers known as 'Top Reviewers' to promote qualitative growth in reviews. Since user feedback plays a crucial role in the purchasing decision stage, the goal is to accumulate trustworthy review data through definite rewards.
'Top Reviewer' is a service that selects and publicly announces the top 1,000 customers every week who have written high-quality reviews on products purchased at Olive Young. The selection is updated every Monday based on the number of product reviews written, the number of helpful votes from other customers, and recent activity scores.
Starting this year, Olive Young will provide a new 'ON Top Coupon' offering exceptional discounts to the 1,000 members selected weekly as 'Top Reviewers.' Members chosen as 'Top Reviewers' in February can receive an immediate discount of 20,000 KRW on purchases exceeding 20,000 KRW. Discount benefits vary monthly.
'Top Reviewers' will receive double CJ ONE points for each product review they write. They can earn up to 2,000 points per review. The invitation benefit to the 'Ollyoung Experience Group,' which offers opportunities to try new products, remains unchanged.
Since July last year, Olive Young has been striving to accumulate quality reviews by introducing a 'Review Blind System' to block fake reviews. Inappropriate reviews are immediately blinded through daily monitoring, and the user interface (UI) for writing reviews has been improved to continuously enhance the review service.
Additionally, Olive Young operates review services that provide practical help for purchases, such as 'Store Staff Recommended Reviews' based on user location information through the online mall's 'Review Lounge.' Its own YouTube channel, 'Ollyoung TV,' has newly launched content called 'Reviewing Reviews,' which selects and introduces representative reviews, expanding the use of reviews.
