KMH Hi-Tech Reports 74.7 Billion KRW in Sales Last Year, Up 27% Year-on-Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] KMH Hi-Tech, a specialized manufacturer of semiconductor components, materials, and SSD cases, continues to achieve steady growth alongside the semiconductor industry's boom.
On the 17th, KMH Hi-Tech announced that its consolidated sales last year reached 74.7 billion KRW, marking a 27% increase compared to the previous year. Operating profit rose by 40% to 7.3 billion KRW. However, due to accounting expenses, net profit for the period was recorded at 1.4 billion KRW.
A KMH Hi-Tech representative explained, "The accounting costs were affected by foreign exchange valuation gains and losses and debt valuation losses related to foreign currency loans for investment in the Vietnam production base last year, but actual cash earnings increased. The semiconductor market is expected to remain strong this year, so continuous business growth is anticipated."
