Fire at Cosmetic Store in Myeongdong, Seoul... No Casualties Reported
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] At around 4:57 AM on the 14th, a fire broke out at a two-story cosmetics store in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul, and was extinguished after about three hours.
According to the fire department, there were no casualties as no one was inside the building at the time of the fire.
The fire, which started on the second floor of the building, spread to three adjacent stores and was completely extinguished at 8:13 AM, 3 hours and 16 minutes later.
One 65-year-old man rescued from the rooftop of a nearby building inhaled smoke and received on-site treatment before returning home on his own.
