According to the city on the 14th, with the easing of the distancing level, restrictions on operating hours for restaurants, cafes, karaoke rooms, indoor sports facilities, and party rooms will be lifted. However, door-to-door sales promotion centers will not be allowed to operate after 10 PM.
Entertainment bars, colatecs, danran bars, emotional bars, hunting pochas, and holdem pubs will also be allowed to operate until 10 PM under the condition of complying with core quarantine rules. These businesses have been subject to gathering bans for the past 10 weeks.
While the city is lifting operating hour restrictions by industry, the ban on private gatherings of five or more people will be maintained for the time being. This is to reduce the risk of infection that may arise from easing the distancing level and to prevent transmission between individuals.
However, the ban on private gatherings of five or more people will not apply to immediate family members even if they are not cohabiting family, and exceptions will be applied to sports business facilities managed by facility administrators.
Accordingly, matches can be held at indoor and outdoor facilities such as futsal fields, soccer fields, and baseball fields under the condition that quarantine rules such as entry log creation, mask-wearing, hand washing, and provision of hand sanitizers are observed.
At religious facilities, under Level 1.5 quarantine rules, only up to 30% of total seats can be occupied for regular worship services. Also, all kinds of face-to-face meetings, activities, events, and meals are prohibited.
Cinemas and performance halls can operate with one seat left empty between companions, and sports viewing is limited to 30% of the total capacity for entry and viewing.
Gatherings and events with more than 500 people must comply with core quarantine rules such as mask-wearing, and must establish their own quarantine management plans and report and consult with the relevant department. However, assemblies, demonstrations, festivals, large-scale concerts, and academic events are limited to fewer than 100 people.
