According to the Haeundae Police Station in Busan on the 13th, at around 12:26 PM, police who received a 112 report at the roadside in front of 2-ro 33, Marine City, Haeundae-gu, searched for the Mercedes-Benz vehicle on suspicion of violating the Animal Protection Act.
The driver placed a cat with a leash on the hood of the Mercedes-Benz vehicle and operated the car, putting the cat in danger. Citizens who witnessed this reported it to the police as an act of animal abuse.
The police analyzed the video received through the 112 report and issued a warrant for the Mercedes-Benz driver on charges of animal abuse. The driver informed the police that “I only put the cat on the hood of the vehicle for exercise purposes and had no intention of abusing the animal.”
