The Bank of Korea Reviews Changes in the International Financial Market Situation
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Bank of Korea announced on the 10th that it will strengthen monitoring of the international financial market during the Lunar New Year holiday period, considering the high external uncertainties such as the spread of COVID-19.
In a press release on the same day, the Bank of Korea stated, "During the holiday period, the head office's foreign exchange operations team and overseas offices located in major financial centers will be linked to conduct 24-hour monitoring of the international financial market and Korea-related indicators."
