Korea SMEs Association and Ministry of SMEs Select 30,000 Excellent SMEs for Online Matching with Job Seekers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Kwon Chil-seung) and the Korea Federation of SMEs (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) announced that the official service of the 'Really Good SMEs' platform will begin on the 15th.
'Really Good SMEs' was developed to allow job seekers, including youth, to easily and conveniently find excellent SMEs they want to work for and to check various job information. It is accessible via the website (gsmb.mss.go.kr) and a mobile app.
Job seekers, including youth, can find 30,000 carefully selected really good SMEs?certified by the government or local governments or with excellent financial performance?based on six criteria including credit rating, operating profit, turnover rate, and unpaid wages, through △finding on the map △searching by conditions △finding preferred companies, all without membership registration and tailored to individual needs.
Along with the official service launch, the 'Cham! Cham! Cham! (Really Good SMEs, for Really Good Youth, Really Good Event)' event will run until the 28th. Among members who register during the participation period and post their expectations for really good SMEs, 280 will be selected by lottery to receive coffee coupons.
There is also an 'Expert Online 1:1 Employment Guide Mentoring' event. Among members who apply for the platform mentoring service during the participation period, 20 will be selected by lottery to receive expert employment guidance benefits such as free resume writing and career counseling. Lee Tae-hee, Head of the Smart Job Division at the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, "We hope that youth will easily find and apply to excellent SMEs through the Really Good SMEs platform." He added, "The Federation will provide information on really good SMEs to employment officers and support institutions at specialized high schools, universities, and local governments to facilitate communication between young job seekers and SMEs struggling with recruitment difficulties."

Jung Ki-hwan, Director of the Job Policy Division at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, "We expect the official launch of this platform to expand job opportunities for young job seekers in SMEs." He added, "We will strive to develop the Really Good SMEs platform into a brand for finding excellent SME jobs that youth frequently visit."
