Cheongam University, Innovation Support Project 1st Student Monitoring Team Closing Ceremony
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Cheongam University (President Seo Hyung-won) announced that it held the ‘Innovation Support Project 1st Student Monitoring Group Closing Ceremony’ in the conference room on the first floor of Cheongam Hall the day before.
The 1st Student Monitoring Group of the Innovation Support Project, formed to create a shared space to view the university from the students’ perspective and to develop it into an innovative university, completed a total of 17 weeks of activities from the launch ceremony on October 7 last year until the 5th of this month.
The seven monitoring members, composed of students from the Department of Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, and Social Welfare, promoted the Innovation Support Project programs, which consist of three areas: educational innovation (academic affairs, teaching and learning), industry-academia cooperation innovation (employment/entrepreneurship, counseling), and other innovations (volunteering), through SNS. They engaged in self-directed activities such as direct reporting and producing promotional materials to share achievements.
They also actively participated in the Innovation Support Project programs and demonstrated passion by directly monitoring within the programs, excellently fulfilling their roles as representatives of Cheongam.
On this day, the closing ceremony was attended by the president, vice president, and head of the Innovation Support Project team of Cheongam University, who greatly encouraged the efforts and passion of the students attending the 1st Student Monitoring Group closing ceremony.
The closing ceremony proceeded in the order of the Innovation Support Project Deputy Head’s hosting, greetings of appreciation from the head of the Innovation Support Project team, the president and vice president of Cheongam University, students’ impressions from the monitoring group members, and a survey.
Jung Kyung-seok, head of the Innovation Support Project team, said, “The activities of the 1st Student Monitoring Group of Cheongam University’s Innovation Support Project will be a greater help in organizing and operating more beneficial Innovation Support Project programs for students.”
President Seo Hyung-won said, “Seeing our university students who have worked diligently actually encourages me. I am very proud of the students who actively participated. Please convey your valuable experiences well. Your participation greatly contributes to the development of our university and local community.”
Following this, Vice President Lee Kang-doo also said, “I hope this will be the starting point for revitalizing student participation programs. I thank our students who worked hard,” encouraging the student monitoring members without hesitation.
Kang Min-ji, a senior nursing student in charge of industry-academia cooperation innovation in the 1st Student Monitoring Group, said, “Through my activities as a member of the 1st Student Monitoring Group, I became more interested in the Innovation Support Project programs that I had not known about before, and it was a valuable experience to act as a representative of the school.”
The 1st Student Monitoring Group of the Innovation Support Project concluded the closing ceremony with a high evaluation that the Innovation Support Project and the student monitoring group help strengthen university competitiveness, foster affection and pride through sharing achievements, with an average satisfaction score of 4.8 out of 5.
