Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic reducing opportunities for youth to participate in safety experience education, the agency plans to provide realistic indirect experiences by producing the video titled "Wise Safety Life."
This video features YouTuber teacher "Dalji" and youth, who are prospective industrial workers, directly experiencing disaster and safety accident situations that can occur in daily life and learning how to respond.
In an experience center where scenarios such as △fire, △traffic accidents, and △earthquakes are simulated like real situations, participants evacuate directly while professional instructors review correct behavior guidelines and safety rules.
Viewers can realistically experience disaster and safety accident scenes indirectly through the video, compare various response methods by different cast members, and learn step-by-step safety rules from prevention to response.
The agency produces and distributes teaching materials and VR safety and health education resources to promote accident prevention and safety awareness among prospective industrial workers.
Every year, the agency produces the "Safety and Health Compass for Prospective Industrial Workers" textbook and teaching materials, which include accident cases by vocational high school majors, prevention measures, and related laws.
They have released 10 types of VR content showing workplace practice and laboratory safety rules through 360° photos, and last year, they visited vocational high schools in the Ulsan area to conduct virtual industrial safety experience education using VR equipment.
Safety and health education materials such as videos are provided through the agency’s website and app (Crisis Escape Safety and Health), and can also be found on YouTube (channel name: Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Angel).
