Our Reporter Kim Hyunmin Wins Excellence Award at the 57th Korea Press Photo Exhibition
<57th Korea Press Photo Awards - Excellence Award> The biggest issue of 2020 was undoubtedly the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This new infectious disease, which did not even have an official name at first, swept across the globe throughout the year, plunging the entire world into fear. Its end is still unknown. Everything changed in Korea after the first confirmed case was reported on January 20. Masks became the most significant visible change amid this situation. They went beyond daily life and became mandatory. In the new year of 2021, the Year of the Ox, we hope that COVID-19 will end soon so that we can take off the suffocating masks and smile brightly again. Office worker Lee Jeong-mi (38) is shown smiling brightly while taking off her mask amid the crowd on her way to work at Sindorim Station.
