Gimhae City Greatly Expands 'Cultural Arts Support Fund' Recipients... 3 Times More Than Last Year
Support for a total of 767 people, 500,000 won per person
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 9th that it will significantly expand the scale of its support project for cultural and artistic activity grants.
The grant project provides 500,000 KRW per cultural artist, supporting 233 people last year.
This year, Gimhae City, which had planned to support 349 people, will support a total of 767 people, an increase of 418, with 191 million KRW from the Gyeongnam-type disaster relief fund.
The application period for the grant will also be extended from the previous 5 days to 26 days.
Eligibility requires residency in Gimhae and valid proof of artistic activity as a cultural artist; unlike before, applications can be made regardless of health insurance premium payments. However, those who received support in 2021 are excluded.
