Muan-gun Operates Emergency Medical System During Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 8th that it will activate an emergency medical system from the 11th to the 14th during the Lunar New Year holiday period to prepare for patient occurrences.
The county will operate a situation room at the public health center during the holiday, strengthen the 24-hour emergency room operation at Muan Hospital, an emergency medical institution in the area, and maintain an emergency contact network to eliminate gaps in medical care.
During this Lunar New Year holiday period, 61 medical institutions and pharmacies (19 hospitals/clinics, 22 pharmacies, 20 health institutions) will operate on a rotating basis.

Governor Kim San said, “Information on the on-duty medical institutions and holiday pharmacies operating during the holiday period has been posted on the county website and the emergency medical portal,” adding, “We will operate the emergency medical system thoroughly so that residents and visitors can safely spend the Lunar New Year holiday.”
