Hi Investment & Securities Launches US Stock Trading Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Hi Investment & Securities announced on the 8th that it has launched a service allowing direct trading of U.S. stocks through its smartphone Mobile Trading System (MTS) and PC Home Trading System (HTS).
The U.S. stock trading service is available to customers holding a Hi Investment & Securities brokerage account who apply for overseas stock trading. It can be accessed through an update to the MTS application called "Power of Investment."
Key features include an after-hours currency exchange service that allows customers who missed the regular currency exchange hours to exchange Korean won during late-night U.S. stock trading hours.
The service also offers a Korean won margin service that enables trading U.S. stocks using Korean won as collateral without a separate currency exchange procedure, with automatic currency exchange occurring on the next business day, enhancing trading convenience. Additionally, a pre-market trading service is provided, allowing trading from one hour before the regular U.S. exchange trading hours.
