40s Arrested for Breaking Upstairs Door with Hand Axe Over Severe Interfloor Noise Complaint

The Gwangju Western Police Station has booked and is investigating Mr. A (49) on charges including special property damage.
Mr. A is accused of breaking the entrance door of a unit with a camping hatchet around 1 a.m. on the 8th at an apartment in Ssangchon-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, citing severe noise between floors.
According to the investigation, Mr. A visited the upstairs neighbor to complain about the noise between floors, and when the door was not opened, he committed this act.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the noise between floors actually occurred.
