Now in its second year, the Regional Tourism Promotion Organization Nurturing Project selects corporations capable of proactively leading cooperation and linkage among tourism-related industries, associations, and residents within the region, including travel, accommodation, food, and shopping. The project gathers opinions from various stakeholders to support the resolution of regional tourism issues and promote development.
The Ministry and the Korea Tourism Organization will select corporations from 12 regions through this public recruitment to operate cooperative networks with various entities such as industries, associations, and residents, and to carry out self-planned projects. Each corporation will receive a total of 250 million KRW (150 million KRW from the national government and 100 million KRW from local governments), and consulting for capacity building will also be provided.
Applications from participating institutions will be accepted from March 2 to 9 via email (dmokorea@knto.or.kr) or registered mail. More detailed information, including application methods and related forms, can be found on the Korea Tourism Organization website and the e-Naradoom website. The final selection results will be announced at the end of March after document evaluation and presentation review.
