In an interview with Golf Digest USA on the 5th (Korean time), he said, "If I hear that my wife is giving birth during a tournament, I will immediately withdraw and rush home," adding, "Even if that tournament is the Masters, it’s the same." He married Kelly, a fellow alumnus of Arizona State University in 2019, and revealed last November that his wife was pregnant. The expected due date is from mid-March to early April.
