[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongmyung University and Pukyong National University are operating a learning coaching program for elementary and middle school students.
The Dongmyung University SW-Centered University Project Group (SW Value Expansion Center Director Choi Soo-young) and Pukyong National University Korean Learning Clinic Center (Director Hwang Mi-young) signed a business agreement on January 29 at the Busan Southern Office of Education with the Southern Education Support Office (Superintendent Byun Yong-kwon) to operate this year's priority project, "Together (Double-Up!) Enjoyable Study, Student-Customized Happy Learning Space."
The "Together Learning Space" is a system where the homeroom teacher leads during class hours, counseling experts and university student mentors support after school, and parents provide integrated online and offline learning guidance at home for elementary and middle school students receiving learning support.
The centers at Dongmyung University and Pukyong National University provide a one-on-one after-school learning coaching program by matching university student learning mentors with elementary and middle school students receiving learning support, visiting schools directly. Additionally, for students with multifactor learning support needs, counseling coaching is also provided for learning, psychological, and emotional support.
