Gwangju Love Temperature Tower Reaches 101.4 Degrees... 4.27 Billion Won Raised
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Love Temperature Tower has surpassed 100 degrees.
The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sangwon) announced on the 1st that through the Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign, it raised 4.27 billion won, achieving 101.4 degrees.
This amount is 60 million won more than the target amount of 4.21 billion won.
The campaign was conducted from December 1 of last year until this day.
In particular, many local companies such as Gwangju Bank and Gwangju Bank Labor Union, Apparel Company, Samsung Electronics, Daewoo Winia Group, Hite Jinro, Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance, Kia Motors, Green Aloe, Daechang Transportation, and Nonghyup Central Association Gwangju Regional Headquarters contributed to raising the Love Temperature.
Along with this, despite the prolonged COVID-19 difficulties, participation came from all walks of life?from small hands saving pocket money with sincerity, to employees joining together in Good Workplace initiatives, the Honor Society practicing noblesse oblige, and participation ranging from small and medium enterprises to large corporations.
The collected donations will be used for basic living expenses and medical support projects, youth meal expenses, school uniform costs, scholarship support projects, housing environment improvement projects, and nighttime care projects for neglected children.
