[Europe Midday] Major Markets Narrow Losses but Remain Down Around 1%... UK Down 0.98%
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Major European stock markets have reduced their intraday losses to within 1%.
On the 29th (local time), the UK FTSE 100 index was down 0.98% from the previous trading day, standing at 6462.27. Although the loss narrowed from over 1% in early trading, selling pressure still appears stronger.
French and German stock markets are also showing weakness. The French CAC 40 index fell 0.91% to 5460.15, while the German DAX 30 index dropped 0.87% to 13,546.57.

The Euro Stoxx 50 index also declined 0.99% to 3521.90. The Italian stock market is down more than 1%, standing at 21,685.70.
