Up to 5 Million KRW Support for Resident Groups Participating in Gwangjin-gu Community Support Project
Recruitment of Resident Groups for the '2021 Village Community Support Project' until February 15... Six Areas Including Creating Safe Communities... Support up to 5 Million Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting resident groups to participate in the ‘2021 Gwangjin-gu Village Community Support Project’ until February 15.
This project was prepared to revitalize village communities by having residents plan and implement necessary agendas in the village together, such as welfare, culture, and environment.
Anyone who is a resident of Gwangjin-gu or has a living base such as a workplace or school in Gwangjin-gu and forms a group of three or more residents can apply.
The support areas include six fields: ‘Creating a Safe Community’ in response to the COVID-19 crisis, ▲‘Making Neighbors’ supporting the formation of initial resident groups, ▲‘Our Village Activity Support’ solving village needs, ▲‘Our Village Space Support Project’ centered on spaces, ▲‘Making Our Neighborhood Alleys’ focused on alleys, and ▲‘Themed Village Living’ cultivating the village with specific themes.
The support scale is about 60 projects with a total of 117 million KRW, with each group receiving support ranging from a minimum of 1 million KRW to a maximum of 5 million KRW.
Resident groups wishing to participate can submit applications and project plans through the ‘Seoul Village Community Comprehensive Support Center’ website, and for the Making Neighbors project, applications can be submitted in person at the respective dong community service center.
Additionally, to facilitate smooth participation, the district provides pre-consultation on document preparation and submission methods through the Gwangjin-gu Village Autonomy Center before application, and also offers online briefing videos via the official Gwangjin-gu Village Community YouTube channel.
The proposed projects will be finalized through screening in April and will be operated until November.
For more details, check the announcement on the district office website or contact the Gwangjin-gu Village Autonomy Center or the Gwangjin-gu Office Autonomous Administration Division.
