View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jin Do-gun, the mayor of Jindo County, Jeollanam-do, announced on the 28th that he is visiting project sites with senior officials to directly inspect major issues to ensure the successful promotion of key development projects driving regional development.
Through recent site visits, they inspected the Sebang Sunset Tourism Attraction project site, Jindo Port hinterland, Namdojinseong Fortress, and Arirang Village tourist sites. They also visited the Singi District rural village, Gunnae Agricultural and Industrial Complex, Nokjin tourist site, Sea Road Experience Center, Songgun Investment Leading District, and Donji Turmeric Processing Plant to listen to voices from the field.
Mayor Lee Dong-jin, who has always emphasized project promotion through communication and cooperation, received reports on project status and promotion plans, discussed anticipated problems and countermeasures, and continued on-site communication by actively accepting opinions from field officials and residents.
In particular, this site visit was accompanied by newly appointed Deputy Mayor Yoon Young-joo this year, providing an opportunity to quickly grasp major facilities and pending projects in the jurisdiction and carefully check the progress.
Following this site visit, early next month, they plan to sequentially visit Unlim Sanbang, the Unlim Scenic District tourism revitalization project sites, Sambyeolcho Memorial Hall, Agricultural Product Processing Center, and Rural New Vitality Plus Project sites to carry out on-site administration.

Mayor Lee Dong-jin said, “The success of county government projects depends on carefully examining the sites and promptly addressing problems,” adding, “We will steadily continue visiting project sites to carry out key projects that will raise the pride of Jindo residents and the status of Jindo County, building a happy Jindo for all residents without any setbacks.”
