Seoul City to Develop Multi-family Housing and Youth Training Facilities in Sinsa-dong, Eunpyeong-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] On the 28th, Seoul City announced that the Urban and Architectural Joint Committee held on the 27th approved a revised detailed development plan for the special planning district at 19-193 Sinsa-dong, Eunpyeong-gu.
The site is located on the west side of the Sinsa-dong Intersection where Eunpyeong-ro and Galhyeon-ro meet, approximately 500 meters in a straight line from Eungam Station on Line 6, and currently has villas.
With the approval of the revision, a total of 282 apartment units, including 37 public rental housing units, will be built on this site. A youth training facility with a total floor area of 392㎡ will also be constructed.

A Seoul City official stated, “Through this revision of the detailed development plan for the special planning district, we expect to secure the lacking youth training facilities (Youth Culture House) and public rental housing within the Sinsa living zone central district unit planning area, thereby improving residents' welfare and enabling efficient land use.”
