GV, Creditor Bankruptcy Petition Filed
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] GV announced on the 28th that a bankruptcy petition has been filed by a creditor. GV stated, "The petitioner owns a portion (1 billion KRW) of the 7th series convertible bonds issued on March 7, 2019, as a claim and requested debt repayment accordingly. However, the company promised to pay by December 20, 2020, but did not make the payment, leading to the filing of the bankruptcy petition." They added, "Regarding all matters following the receipt of the bankruptcy petition, we plan to take all necessary measures through amicable agreements with the creditor and in accordance with legal procedures."
