Dong-Eui Science University and Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement on January 26.

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) signed a business agreement on mutual exchange and development in academic and administrative fields with Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters (Head Ban Soo-nam) on the 26th.
The signing ceremony held in the main conference room of the university's main building in the afternoon was attended by about 10 officials from both institutions, including Dong-Eui Institute of Technology President Kim Young-do, Planning Director Kim Kyung-hwa, Fire Safety Management Department Head Byun Tae-young, Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters Head Ban Soo-nam, Fire Administration Director Park Eok-jo, and Disaster Prevention Officer Kim Han-hyo.
Since Dong-Eui Institute of Technology established the Fire Safety Management Department starting from the 2021 academic year, this agreement was prepared to improve the professionalism and quality of education through exchange and cooperation between the two institutions and to train firefighting personnel who can respond to disaster situations and realize the value of respecting life.
The two institutions agreed to cooperate on ▲ mutual exchange of academic, information, personnel education, and facilities in the fields of fire safety, emergency, and communication ▲ consultation and support in public safety, fire, disaster prevention, and disaster cooperation between government and academia ▲ operation and provision of specialized programs to improve institutional work capabilities and welfare.
