The Love Lunchbox initiative started as part of the 'One Meal Sharing On(tact) Project' proposed by SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won. The One Meal Sharing Ontact Project is a win-win model that supports sales by ordering lunchboxes from local small restaurants or social enterprises facing business difficulties due to COVID-19, and provides these lunchboxes to vulnerable groups who have difficulty eating due to the suspension of welfare facilities.
SK Broadband purchased lunchboxes (a total of about 13,000) made by three social enterprises and will provide them daily to 180 elderly people living alone in Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province until the end of March. To this end, on the 21st, it signed a 'Warm One Meal Sharing Agreement' with the Suwon City Social Welfare Council and six local welfare centers.
