120 Children and 15 Staff Members Test Negative
A child at a daycare center in Sinyong-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City is undergoing a COVID-19 diagnostic test.

According to health authorities on the 25th, one teacher at a daycare center in Sinyong-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, who was tested during the full investigation conducted the previous day, was confirmed positive and classified as Gwangju case number 1503.
While conducting epidemiological investigations on confirmed cases related to TCS Ace International School, health authorities classified the kindergarten and daycare center as close contacts.
Accordingly, a full investigation was conducted on 136 individuals, including 120 children and 16 staff members, on the morning of the previous day.
Except for one teacher, all other staff and children tested negative.

Meanwhile, health authorities initially considered this cluster infection to be related to Bitnaeri Church, but after conducting epidemiological investigations, they judged a higher correlation with TCS Ace International School and changed the infection route in consultation with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
