Yangsan City Rolls Up Sleeves to Reduce Ultrafine Dust... Launches Support Program for New LPG Cargo Vehicle Purchases
Support of approximately 200 units with a budget of 800 million KRW this year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City in Gyeongnam has rolled up its sleeves to reduce ultrafine dust, which causes cancer and respiratory diseases.
As part of its fine dust reduction measures, Yangsan City announced on the 22nd that it will provide subsidies for scrapping old diesel vehicles and purchasing new LPG cargo vehicles.
A total of 200 vehicles will be supported with 4 million won per vehicle. The application period is from the 27th to the 16th of next month. For more details, please check the Yangsan City Hall website.
