[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] In Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, 12 family members who gathered for the birthday party of an elderly mother in her 80s tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Suncheon City on the 22nd, 18 people gathered at the house on the 16th and 17th in Suncheon for the elderly mother's birthday party.
They stayed only at the house, but Mr. A from Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, who was already infected with COVID-19, caused additional confirmed cases.
Three family members from Suncheon tested positive, along with two from Gwangyang, six from Geoje, Gyeongnam, and one from Bucheon, totaling 12 infections.
