[Featured Stock] Korea Technology Rises on News of Yoon Seok-yeol Leading in Presidential Runoff Poll
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Korea Technology is showing strength following the news that Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol won all victories in the head-to-head presidential candidate surveys.
As of 10 a.m. on the 20th, Korea Technology is trading at 1,085 won, up 11.51% compared to the previous day.
According to a head-to-head survey conducted by Winzi Korea Consulting on behalf of Asia Economy from the 16th to 17th, targeting 1,009 people nationwide aged 18 and over, Prosecutor General Yoon led with 46.8% against Lee Nak-yeon, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who had 39.0%. Yoon also led with 45.1% against Lee Jae-myung, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, who had 42.1% in their head-to-head match-up.

Korea Technology appointed lawyer Moon Kang-bae as an outside director in December last year. Lawyer Moon is known to be a close friend of Prosecutor General Yoon since their university days as classmates from Seoul National University, class of '79.
